The Bear Who Loved Dreams
Lily loved her iPhone, especially the camera app. Every afternoon, she'd take pictures of butterflies, flowers, and clouds. But one day, something magical happened.
While photographing her teddy bear in the backyard, the screen shimmered with golden light. Suddenly, the teddy bear WINKED at her! Lily rubbed her eyes. The bear on her phone screen was moving, even though the real bear sat still as ever.
That night, Lily heard scratching sounds from her closet. A head poked out — it was her bear, but bigger now, soft and fluffy with kind brown eyes.
"I'm Benjamin," the bear whispered. "And I've been your secret friend since you were three."
Lily gasped. "You can talk?"
"I'm a dream spy," Benjamin explained. "Bears like me watch over children while they sleep, making sure nightmares stay far away. Your iPhone's magic let you see me." He showed her his fuzzy paws, each one glowing with tiny sparkles. "When I 'spy' on dreams, I make them sweeter."
Together they went on midnight adventures, sliding down moonbeams and dancing with stars. Benjamin taught Lily how to catch falling dreams in jars, turning scary dreams into happy ones.
"Why me?" Lily asked one night.
"Because you have the kindest heart," Benjamin said, hugging her. "And you take pictures of beautiful things. That tells me you notice magic."
Lily learned that true friends come in all shapes and sizes — even fuzzy ones who should be stuffed toys but aren't. Every night, Benjamin curled up beside her bed, guarding her dreams.
The best secret? Lily's iPhone camera could still see magic. And sometimes, if she looked closely at her photos, she'd see Benjamin winking back.
Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear fur, and some just need a magical camera to help them find their best friend.
