The Bear Who Lost His Roar
Lily discovered something magical in her grandmother's dusty attic. It was an oversized purple hat with silver stars that seemed to twinkle even in the dim light. When she placed it on her head, the hat whispered, "I have exactly one wish left. Use it wisely."
In the forest behind her house, Lily met Barnaby, a large brown bear with the saddest eyes she had ever seen. "I've lost my roar," Barnaby sighed. "Without it, I can't scare away the storm clouds that threaten my friends' gardens."
Lily knew exactly what to do. She placed the magical purple hat on Barnaby's head and whispered, "I wish for the courage vitamin that lives inside this hat to help Barnaby find his roar again."
The hat began to glow. A single golden vitamin floated up from its depths. Barnaby swallowed it, and immediately his eyes brightened. He took a deep breath and let out the mightiest roar anyone had ever heard! The storm clouds scattered, and rainbow sparkles filled the sky.
"Thank you, Lily!" Barnaby cheered. "You're the best friend a bear could ever have."
The purple hat, now just an ordinary hat, sat on Barnaby's head. Lily realized something important: the real magic wasn't in the vitamin or the hat at all—it was in believing in someone else and helping them find what they'd lost all along.
From that day on, Lily and Barnaby were the best of friends, and every time Barnaby wore his purple hat, he remembered that true courage comes from having friends who believe in you.
