The Bear Who Found His Splash
Benny was a small brown **bear** with very big paws and an even bigger problem. He was the only bear in the whole forest who was afraid of water. While other bears splashed and played in the sparkling river, Benny sat on the grassy bank, watching sadly.
One hot summer day, Benny was resting near a small pond when he saw something amazing. A tiny **goldfish** with scales that shimmered like rainbow jewels jumped right out of the water!
"Hello, Benny!" said the goldfish, whose name was Glitter. "I've been watching you from underwater. Why don't you ever go **swimming** with your friends?"
Benny hung his head. "I'm afraid. The water looks so deep and dark. What if I sink?"
Glitter swam closer, her fins dancing like ribbons in the current. "Benny, I have something special for you. Follow me!"
She led Benny to a secret grotto behind a waterfall where magical blue berries grew. "These are courage berries—nature's special **vitamin** for brave hearts," Glitter explained. "One bite, and you'll feel ready for anything!"
Benny ate one berry. It tasted like sunshine and adventure. Suddenly, his legs felt strong and his heart felt light.
"Now try!" Glitter cheered.
Benny stepped into the cool, sparkling water. To his surprise, he didn't sink at all—his big paws paddled perfectly! He laughed with joy as he glided through the water, with Glitter swimming beside him like a tiny golden guide.
From that day on, Benny became the best swimming teacher in the forest. He taught scared little animals that true bravery isn't about not being afraid—it's about trying even when you are. And sometimes, he told them, all you need is a good friend and a little courage vitamin.
