The Bear Who Found His Friend

In a magical forest where moss grew thick and soft, lived a gentle brown **bear** named Barnaby. Barnaby had a secret — he could speak to the wind. One warm afternoon, the wind whispered something exciting.

"A lost friend waits by the **water**," it sang.

Barnaby lumbered toward the silver river that wound through the forest like a ribbon of moonlight. There, sitting on a smooth gray stone, was a young girl named Mia. She looked lonely.

Barnaby approached slowly. "Hello," he said softly.

Mia jumped. Then she gasped in wonder. "You're a talking bear!"

"My name is Barnaby," he smiled. "What brings you to my forest?"

"I'm camping with my family," Mia explained, "but I got turned around. Now I can't find my way back."

"Let me help you," Barnaby offered kindly.

As they walked together, Mia showed Barnaby something strange she had found — a shiny black rectangle. "My dad calls it an **iPhone**," she explained. "But I think it's a magic mirror."

Barnaby was curious. Together they discovered that when Mia held the device toward the sky, it painted glowing pictures on its glass face — pictures of stars and animals.

Suddenly, the screen showed a magnificent **bull** made of tiny twinkling lights.

"That's the Taurus constellation," said Mia. "In stories, bulls are strong and loyal friends."

Barnaby's heart swelled. The wind had been right. He had found not just a friend, but a kindred spirit.

That evening, Barnaby guided Mia safely back to her campsite. Before they parted, Mia made Barnaby a promise. "I'll visit you every summer. We can watch the stars together."

Barnaby beamed. "I'll be waiting," he said.

And he was. For many years, Mia returned. Each summer, she and Barnaby would sit by the river, the iPhone showing them constellations, the wind singing them stories. They learned that some friendships are written in the stars, waiting to be found by those who believe in magic.
