The Bear Who Forgot His Vitamins
Once there was a great big bear named Barnaby who lived in a cozy cave at the edge of the Whispering Woods. Barnaby loved honey, berries, and napping in sunbeams. But there was one thing he always forgot—his morning vitamin.
One sunny morning, Barnaby woke up feeling extra groggy. His fur felt matted, his paws felt heavy, and his tummy rumbled like distant thunder. "Oh dear," he yawned, stretching his enormous arms. "I think I've become a zombie bear!"
Zombie bears weren't scary monsters. In the Whispering Woods, being a zombie just meant you moved super slowly and everything seemed like a dream. Barnaby tried to walk to the berry patch, but his legs moved like they were stuck in honey.
Just then, a tiny goldfish named Fin swam by in a nearby stream. Fin was no ordinary fish—she had shimmering scales that changed color with her mood, and she could jump three feet in the air!
"Barnaby!" Fin called, leaping gracefully from the water. "You look like a zombie bear! What happened?"
"I forgot my vitamin again," Barnaby admitted, sitting down with a thump. "Now I'm stuck in zombie mode."
Fin's scales turned a thoughtful purple. "I know what to do! My friend Oliver the Owl keeps special magic vitamins in his treehouse. They're not ordinary vitamins—they're made from rainbow berries and morning dew!"
But Oliver's treehouse was far away, and Barnaby could barely move. Fin swam closer, her scales now glowing with determination. "Hop on my back, Barnaby! I may be small, but I'm strong when it matters!"
Barnaby giggled. "But you're a goldfish, Fin! I'll squash you!"
"Not today!" Fin chirped. With a sparkle of magic dust, she grew to the size of a pony. Barnaby carefully climbed onto her shimmering back, and they soared through the forest.
They reached Oliver's treehouse, where the wise old owl greeted them. "Ah, the classic zombie bear problem," Oliver said, nodding. "Here's your magic vitamin, Barnaby."
Barnaby swallowed the glowing purple vitamin. Instantly, energy rushed through his body. His fur became fluffy again, his eyes sparkled, and he did a happy dance.
"Thank you, Fin! Thank you, Oliver!" Barnaby cheered, hugging his tiny friend. "I promise never to forget my vitamin again!"
And from that day on, Barnaby took his vitamin every single morning, always with a little help from his best friend Fin, who would remind him with a splash of her rainbow-colored tail.
The moral? Sometimes the smallest friends can make the biggest difference, and a little vitamin can keep the zombie bear away!
