The Bear's Zombie Garden Friend
Lily loved exploring the forest behind her house. One sunny afternoon, she discovered something amazing—a friendly bear named Barnaby sitting in a hidden garden, carefully tending to plants.
"Hello there!" Barnaby waved a big furry paw. "Would you like to help me?"
Lily nodded eagerly. She spotted bright green spinach leaves growing next to giant orange papayas. "These are magical," Barnaby explained. "The spinach gives you super strength, and the papayas make you float like a balloon!"
Suddenly, a strange figure shuffled out from behind a tree. It was a zombie—but not a scary one. This zombie had flowers growing from its pockets and a smile on its green face.
"This is Zara," Barnaby said. "She's a garden zombie. She helps things grow!"
Zara pointed to a thick cable stretching across the garden. "The moon cable," she rasped happily. "It catches moonbeams at night and sprinkles magic dust on the plants. That's why everything grows so big here!"
Lily's eyes widened. "Can I try the spinach?"
Barnaby plucked a leaf. Lily ate it—and suddenly she could lift giant rocks with one hand! Then she tasted the papaya and floated up to touch the leaves.
"Wow!" Lily laughed, spinning in the air. "This is the best day ever!"
As the sun set, the three friends sat together watching the moon cable begin to glow. Lily learned that sometimes the most unexpected friends—a bear, a zombie, and a little girl—can make the most wonderful magic together.
And every night, Lily remembered: true friendship is the strongest magic of all.
