The Bear's Secret Garden Pyramid
Lily discovered something magical in her grandmother's backyard. Behind the old oak tree, hidden beneath a tangle of vines, stood a tiny golden pyramid no bigger than a shoebox. But when Lily pressed her palm against its smooth surface, the pyramid began to glow.
Suddenly, Lily wasn't in the backyard anymore. She stood in a misty forest where a large brown bear sat crying beside a withered garden.
"What's wrong?" Lily asked, surprising herself with her bravery.
The bear wiped his eyes with a furry paw. "I'm Bramble, and I've forgotten the magic words to make my garden grow. My friend Spinach the Sprite taught them to me, but I can't remember!"
Lily knelt beside the sad bear. "Maybe I can help!"
Bramble's face brightened. "The magic happens when we're running together around the garden three times!"
Lily and the bear began to run—pitter-patter, thump-thump—around the garden patch. Once. Twice. Three times!
Suddenly, green shoots burst from the earth. Leafy spinach plants sprouted everywhere, glowing with tiny sparks of light. A little green sprite appeared from the largest spinach leaf.
"Bramble! You remembered!" Spinach cheered.
The bear hugged Lily gently. "I couldn't have done it without my new friend!"
Lily pressed her palm against the garden's stone marker, and in a blink, she was back in her grandmother's yard. The tiny pyramid had vanished, but something remained—a fresh spinach leaf tucked in her pocket, still shimmering with magic.
That night at dinner, when her grandmother served spinach, Lily smiled. Sometimes, the most wonderful adventures come from trying new things—and making unexpected friends along the way.
