The Bear's Pyramid of Dreams

Barnaby was a small bear with very big dreams. Every morning, he would climb to the top of the tallest hill and watch the sun paint the sky in shades of orange and gold.

One day, while exploring near the old river, Barnaby discovered something extraordinary—a perfect orange crystal hidden beneath a twisted root. It pulsed with warmth, as if it contained tiny pieces of sunshine itself.

'What are you?' Barnaby whispered.

The crystal glowed brighter. A voice bubbled up like happy laughter: 'I'm a vitamin for dreams! Every sunrise leaves me behind for bears who believe in magic.'

Barnaby's heart fluttered. 'Magic? Where?'

'In the pyramid of wishes,' the crystal twinkled. 'Beyond the whispering woods, where moonbeams dance. Build a pyramid there, and one dream will come true.'

That afternoon, Barnaby gathered his friends—Ruby the rabbit, Pip the squirrel, and Willow the owl. Together they collected smooth stones, fallen leaves, and flowers that shimmered like stars.

They reached the clearing just as the first star appeared. Carefully, Barnaby placed each stone, one by one, until they formed a small pyramid. He placed the orange crystal at the very top.

'The vitamin for dreams needs a wish,' the crystal hummed.

Barnaby closed his eyes tight. 'I wish that every animal in our forest has enough food, warm shelter, and friends to share stories with.'

The pyramid trembled. Golden light burst from the orange crystal, swirling around them like a hug made of sunshine. Wherever the light touched, fruit trees appeared. Cozy dens nestled into the earth. And most wonderful of all, animals who had been lonely suddenly found themselves surrounded by new friends.

The orange crystal's voice echoed softly: 'True magic isn't making wishes for yourself. It's wishing for others.'

Barnaby smiled, his heart full and warm. From that day on, every bear who climbed the hill at sunrise found something special—not just an orange sky, but the knowledge that the best dreams are the ones we share.
