The Bear's Midnight Pyramid

Barnaby was a small brown bear who lived by the sparkling blue water of Crystal Lake. Every night, he watched the moon dance on the waves, but tonight was different.

Tonight, the sky turned purple and strange. Lightning flashed like magic fireworks, and something amazing began to rise from the water's center.

Barnaby rubbed his eyes. A glowing pyramid made entirely of golden light emerged from the lake! It wasn't like the pyramids he'd seen in books – this one shimmered and pulsed with warmth.

A tiny voice giggled from a swaying palm tree at the water's edge. "You can see it too? I thought I was the only one!"

Barnaby looked up. A little fairy named Luna sat on a palm frond, her wings sparkling like diamonds.

"What is it?" Barnaby asked.

"The Midnight Pyramid," Luna whispered. "It appears only when lightning dances and hearts are pure. It grants one wish to those brave enough to approach."

Barnaby's heart pounded. He wished for many things – more honey, a warmer cave – but looking at Luna, he had a better idea.

"Will you come with me?" Barnaby asked.

Luna's eyes widened. "You'd share your wish? With me?"

"Friends share everything," Barnaby said, and together they padded toward the glowing pyramid.

The water didn't feel wet – it felt like walking on clouds. Lightning flashed again, making the pyramid blaze brighter. Inside, they found not gold or jewels, but something better: two small pouches of magical stardust.

"Make your wishes," the pyramid's voice echoed.

Barnaby thought carefully. "I wish for Luna to have a forever home where she'll always be safe and happy."

Luna gasped. "And I wish for Barnaby to have all the honey his heart desires, and friends to share it with!"

The pyramid sparkled and sank back into the water, but something magical remained. A beautiful grove of palm trees appeared, with a cozy little house for Luna – right next to Barnaby's favorite honey tree.

Every full moon, when lightning fills the sky, Barnaby and Luna sit by the water, sharing honey and remembering: the best wishes are the ones you make for others.
