The Bear's Magical Spinach Surprise
Bruno was a fluffy brown bear who loved two things more than anything: playing padel and tending his magical garden. Every morning, he'd grab his favorite blue racket and head to the court, where he'd hit the ball against the wall—thwack, thwack, thwack!
One sunny afternoon, while Bruno was watering his prize-winning spinach plants, he heard a soft groan coming from the forest. Bruno's ears perked up. Out stumbled a zombie!
But this wasn't a scary zombie like in stories. This zombie had messy green hair, wore polka-dot pajamas, and held a wilted daisy. His name was Zedd, and he looked very lonely.
"Hi," said Zedd shyly. "I heard you playing padel. It sounds fun."
Bruno smiled warmly. "Would you like to learn?"
Zedd's eyes lit up. "Really? But I'm just a zombie. Everyone runs away from me."
"Not me," said Bruno, handing him a spare racket. "Here, everyone deserves a friend."
They played padel together all afternoon. Zedd was surprisingly good! But by sunset, Zedd began to fade, becoming more transparent.
"What's wrong?" Bruno asked worriedly.
"Zombies need magic to stay real," Zedd sighed. "I haven't found any in months."
Bruno gasped. "My spinach!"
He rushed to his garden and picked the biggest, shiniest spinach leaf. It shimmered with golden sparkles. "Eat this," Bruno said.
Zedd took a bite—and suddenly glowed with green light! He became solid and strong, no longer see-through. The magical spinach had worked!
"Thank you, Bruno!" Zedd cheered, hugging his new friend. "You didn't judge me by how I looked. You saw me."
From that day on, Bruno and Zedd were the best padel partners in all the land. And every week, they shared Bruno's magical spinach with anyone who looked lonely—because Bruno learned that the best magic isn't in plants at all.
It's in kindness, friendship, and giving everyone a chance.
