The Bear's Magic Pool
Lila loved exploring behind her house, especially near the old swimming pool that had been abandoned for years. But one sunny afternoon, she discovered something amazing.
Between the palm trees that now grew wild around the pool, she spotted a fluffy brown bear! His shaggy hair was covered in leaves, and he looked very sad.
"What's wrong, Mr. Bear?" Lila asked bravely.
The bear sighed. "I found this shiny rectangle"—he held out an old iPhone someone had dropped—"but I can't make it work. I just want to see pictures of my family who live far away."
Lila smiled. "I can help!"
She took the iPhone carefully in her palm and showed the bear how to swipe and tap. But something magical happened—when the bear's furry finger touched the screen, the phone didn't just show photos. It projected sparkling holograms into the air!
Suddenly, the abandoned pool began to glow. The water turned into a swirling rainbow portal, and through it danced images of the bear's family: mama bears teaching cubs to catch fish, papa bears showing little ones how to climb trees.
"They're happy!" the bear cried, tears of joy rolling down his furry cheeks. "They're thinking of me!"
From that day on, Lila visited her magical friend every summer. The bear learned to use the iPhone to send messages through the enchanted pool, and Lila learned that magic exists in the kindest places—even in something as simple as helping a friend.
And sometimes, if you look closely at old abandoned pools, you might just see a spark of rainbow light, flickering like a memory of two unlikely friends who discovered that the best magic is friendship.
