The Bear's Magic Mirror
Benny the bear loved his morning swims in the crystal mountain water. He would splash and dive until his fur shined like wet gold. But one sunny day, something strange happened.
As Benny shook himself dry under his favorite palm tree, a shiny object fell from a tourist's bag. It glowed with mysterious lights. Benny nudged it with his nose. The object made a funny chime.
It was an iPhone, left behind by mistake. Benny had never seen such a thing. But when he touched the screen, it showed him something amazing—children playing baseball in the valley below!
"Look at that!" Benny whispered. "They're having so much fun."
The children laughed and ran. A boy hit the baseball high into the air. It soared over the trees and landed—plop—right in the water near Benny!
Benny fished it out with his big paw. The children looked sad. They had lost their favorite baseball.
Through the magic iPhone, Benny watched them search. His heart felt funny. He knew what to do.
Benny lumbered down the mountain, the baseball in his mouth. The children gasped when they saw him.
"A bear!" shouted a little girl.
But Benny gently dropped the baseball at their feet. Then he showed them his favorite trick—standing on his hind legs and waving.
The children cheered. They touched Benny's soft fur and fed him berries from their lunches. The iPhone in his pocket chimed again, showing Benny's reflection with his new friends.
Now every summer, the children visit Benny at his palm tree. They bring baseballs and berries. Benny learned that the best magic isn't in shiny screens—it's in friendship, kindness, and sharing beautiful days together.
