Barnaby was a bear with a problem. He lived near the edge of Whispering Woods, where children played every day. But Barnaby was too shy to say hello.

Every afternoon, he watched from behind a tall oak tree as children laughed and played padel on the sunny court. The racket sounds echoed like happy music through the forest. *How wonderful it would be,* Barnaby thought, *to have friends and play together.*

"I'm Lily," said the girl, patting Barnaby's paw. "This is Max, and those are Sam and Aisha."

Barnaby's heart swelled. He had names for his friends.

They played padel together every day after that. The magical cable became their special friend-maker, helping anyone who felt lonely find connection. Other shy animals from the forest soon joined too, attracted by the cable's warm, welcoming glow.
