The Bear's Lightning Hat
Lily chased her bright blue iPhone as it tumbled through the meadow, bouncing over roots and rocks until it disappeared into a dark cave. "Oh no!" she cried, peering inside. A warm glow flickered from deep within.
Inside the cave sat a giant brown bear wearing the most magnificent hat Lily had ever seen—a tall fuzzy hat with lightning bolts that shimmered like captured stars.
"Lost something?" the bear rumbled gently, holding up her iPhone. But instead of handing it over, he tapped the screen and magical vitamin berries rained from the cave ceiling, landing in a wooden bowl.
"Try one," said Bear. "They grow where lightning strikes the oldest trees. They give you the power to see what others miss."
Lily took a bright purple berry. Suddenly, the bear's hat began to glow and swirl, and tiny lightning bolts danced around her fingertips. She could see the magic inside everything—sparkles in the air, songs in the wind, friendship waiting to be found.
"The lightning in my hat collects dreams," Bear explained. "And vitamins collect magic. Put them together? That's how adventures begin."
They spent the afternoon making vitamin berry pies and catching lightning in mason jars. When Lily finally headed home, her iPhone safe in her pocket, she wore a new hat woven from grass and lightning.
"Come back tomorrow," Bear called. "We'll teach the squirrels to dance!"
Lily ran home, her heart full. She'd lost her phone but found something better—a friend who knew that magic exists in berries, in storms, in the most unexpected friendships.
That night, her iPhone glowed with tiny lightning bolts. The adventure had only just begun.
