The Bear's Baseball Pyramid
Timmy loved exploring the woods behind his house. One sunny afternoon, he discovered an old cable car hidden among the ancient trees. The cable stretched high into the clouds, disappearing into the mist above like a silver thread.
'I wonder where this goes?' Timmy whispered, his heart racing with excitement.
He climbed inside the wooden car and pulled the rusted lever. Up, up, up he went, higher than the tallest trees, higher than the birds, higher than he'd ever been before. The cable car rattled and hummed as it carried him through the soft clouds.
Suddenly, the car stopped at the top of a magical mountain. There, sitting beside a shimmering blue pond, was the biggest bear Timmy had ever seen. But this bear wasn't scary at all – he wore a friendly smile and a dusty baseball cap!
'Welcome!' the bear rumbled in a deep, warm voice. 'I'm Barnaby. Would you like to see my special collection?'
Timmy followed Barnaby around the sparkling pond. There, glowing in the golden sunlight, stood a perfect pyramid made of hundreds of colorful baseballs. Reds and blues and greens sparkled like precious jewels.
'Each baseball represents a friend I've made,' Barnaby explained softly. 'The red ones are brave friends. The blue ones are wise friends. The green ones are kind friends. And the gold ones...' he paused, his eyes twinkling, 'the gold ones are friends who share everything.'
Timmy's eyes widened with wonder. 'That's beautiful!'
'The best part is,' Barnaby said, 'the pyramid only grows when you add a baseball for someone else. When I give a baseball away, two more appear in its place.' He picked up a bright red ball and handed it to Timmy. 'This is for you – for being brave enough to explore.'
Timmy's heart felt warm and happy as he held the magical baseball. 'Thank you, Barnaby! I'll treasure it always.'
'And remember,' the bear called as Timmy climbed back into the cable car, 'the more you share, the more your pyramid grows. That's the true magic of friendship!'
As Timmy rode home through the clouds, he held the baseball tight and couldn't wait to share his adventure with everyone. He knew exactly what he'd do – tell his friends about Barnaby, so their friendship pyramids could grow too!
