The Bear and the Magic Pyramid
Bruno was a lonely polar bear who lived where the ice met the sea. Every day, he would slide on his belly and splash in the cold water, but he had no one to play with. No brothers or sisters. No friends.
One morning, Bruno discovered something amazing—a perfect crystal pyramid shining on the ice. It glowed with rainbow colors like a captured sunrise. Bruno approached carefully and pressed his fuzzy paw against the smooth surface.
Suddenly, warm water swirled around his paws! The ice pyramid began to spin, and Bruno felt himself being pulled inside. Whoosh! He was sliding through a magical water tunnel, spinning and twirling until he splashed down in a place he had never seen before.
Bruno shook his wet fur and looked around. Golden sand stretched in every direction, and tall palm trees swayed in a warm breeze. Then he saw it—a magnificent pyramid rising from the desert sand, exactly like his crystal one but made of golden stone.
"Hello!" called a voice from behind the pyramid. A little camel with kind brown eyes stepped forward. "I'm Jasmine. I've been waiting for you!"
"I'm Bruno," said the polar bear, shivering a little in the warm air.
Jasmine laughed and showed Bruno how her pyramid was also magic. By pressing her palm against it, she could visit snowy lands. "We're supposed to be friends," she said simply. "The magic pyramids chose us."
Bruno's heart swelled with happiness. For the first time ever, he had a friend! They spent the day playing—Jasmine showed Bruno how palm tree leaves made great fans, and Bruno showed Jasmine how to slide on sand like it was snow.
When it was time to leave, Bruno pressed his paw against the golden pyramid. "I'll come back every day," he promised.
"And I'll visit you too," said Jasmine. "Friendship can travel anywhere—even through magic pyramids!"
Bruno slid back through the water tunnel, arriving home with a smile. He wasn't lonely anymore. The best magic of all wasn't the pyramids or the traveling water—it was having a friend who made every day an adventure.
