The Bear and the Magic Pool
In a forest where trees whispered secrets, lived a young bear named Benny. Benny was different from other bears – while they napped in sunny spots, Benny loved to explore.
One hot afternoon, Benny discovered a sparkling blue pool hidden behind a waterfall. The water glowed with tiny lights, as if stars were swimming beneath the surface. As Benny leaned closer to look, something splashed!
PLOP!
A small rectangular object fell from the sky. Benny fished it out with his paw. It was smooth and black, with a shiny screen that showed a picture of a smiling girl.
"That's my iPhone!" a voice called out.
Benny looked up to see a girl named Maya running toward him. Most bears would run away, but Benny was curious. Something magical happened when their eyes met – the iPhone screen flickered with rainbow colors!
"I dropped it when I was taking pictures of the waterfall," Maya explained. "You're not scared of me?"
Benny shook his head and returned the iPhone. As Maya took it, the pool behind them began to bubble. Tiny lights rose from the water, forming shapes of dancing bears and laughing children.
"The pool is magic!" Maya gasped. "It's showing us something."
The lights swirled together to create a message: TRUE FRIENDS SEE BEYOND DIFFERENCES.
Benny understood. The magic pool had brought them together for a reason. That afternoon, they sat by the water, Maya taking photos and Benny splashing in the shallows. The iPhone became special – it only showed pictures of their magical friendship.
From that day on, Maya visited Benny every weekend. The magical pool would glow extra bright whenever they were together, as if celebrating their unusual friendship. Other bears thought Benny was strange for playing with a human, and other children thought Maya was odd for being friends with a bear.
But neither cared. They knew something wonderful: the best friendships are the ones that surprise us, and magic happens when we open our hearts to unexpected friends.
Sometimes, if you visit the waterfall pool on a sunny day, you might still see them there – a girl and a bear, splashing and laughing, while rainbow lights dance across the water's surface.
