The Baseball That Flew to Egypt
Leo loved playing baseball more than anything. Every day after school, he'd grab his glove and run to the park. But one sunny afternoon, something magical happened.
Leo hit the baseball with all his might. CRACK! The ball didn't just fly through the air—it glowed golden and soared higher than any ball had ever flown before, disappearing into the clouds.
"Wait!" Leo called, chasing after it.
He followed the glowing trail until he reached the most amazing sight: a golden pyramid rising from the sand, shimmering in the sunlight. Palm trees swayed gently around it, their leaves dancing in the warm breeze.
An old man with twinkling eyes sat beside the pyramid, holding a thick cable made of braided moonlight and stardust.
"You hit the Magic Ball," the man said with a smile. "Only once every hundred years does someone hit it hard enough to unlock the pyramid's secret."
"What's inside?" Leo asked, his eyes wide.
"Friendship that lasts forever," the man replied. "But you'll need courage to find it."
He handed Leo the glowing cable. "This will help you climb to the top. But you must go alone."
Leo's hands trembled, but he nodded. He attached the cable to the pyramid's golden stones and began to climb. Higher and higher he went, until he could see the whole world below.
At the very top, Leo found something amazing: not gold or jewels, but a small mirror. When he looked into it, he saw all his friends waiting for him at the baseball field, worrying about where he'd gone.
Leo suddenly understood. True treasure wasn't magical adventures alone—it was having friends who cared about you.
He slid down the cable, thanked the old man, and grabbed his glowing baseball. When he returned to the field, his friends cheered.
"Where were you?" his best friend Mia asked.
Leo smiled. "I learned something important. Baseball is fun, but playing with friends is the real magic."
From that day on, Leo never forgot: the best adventures are the ones you share with the people you love.
