Sparky's Stormy Secret

Lily loved stormy afternoons, especially when her golden retriever Sparky would do something extraordinary. Every time lightning flashed across the sky, Sparky's fur would glow like a tiny star!

One rainy afternoon, as thunder rumbled like a hungry tummy, Lily noticed Sparky nudging her iPhone off the table. The phone landed screen-up on the kitchen floor, right next to a papaya Lily's mom had left on the counter.

"Strange," Lily whispered. Sparky never paid attention to phones before.

When another lightning bolt streaked through the window, Sparky touched his nose to the iPhone screen. Suddenly, the phone began to show sparkling images – magical creatures dancing in the rain!

Sparky barked excitedly and pawed at the papaya. The fruit's orange flesh started to glow, and tiny lights floated up like fireflies. Each light became a miniature storm creature – a raindrop dragon, a thunder-bunny, and a lightning-puppy!

The lightning-puppy looked exactly like Sparky, only made of golden light!

"You have magic friends!" Lily gasped.

Sparky wagged his tail so hard his whole body wiggled. The magical creatures swirled around him like sparkly confetti. Through the iPhone, Lily could see they were having a party in the rain, celebrating the storm.

The papaya's glow grew brighter, and Lily understood: these magical storm creatures needed special fruit to stay bright. Her mom had bought papayas by mistake, thinking they were mangoes. Now Lily knew their real purpose!

From that day on, whenever storms came, Lily would save papaya pieces for Sparky's magical friends. The lightning-puppy and his storm pals would dance outside her window, and Sparky would glow with happiness.

Lily learned that the most wonderful magic hides in unexpected places – even in a rainy afternoon with a dog, a lightning storm, and a forgotten papaya.

And whenever her friends asked why she loved storms so much, Lily would just smile and say, "That's when Sparky's friends come to play."
