Ruby's Baseball Magic

Ruby had the most magical hair in town. Her curls bounced like rainbow springs, and sometimes — just sometimes — they would wiggle when something important was about to happen.

One sunny Saturday, Ruby stood at the baseball field. Her team, the Sparking Stars, was losing by three runs. It was the final inning, and Tommy stood at home plate, gripping the bat with trembling hands.

"You can do it!" Ruby cheered from the bench. But her hair began to wiggle — the special wiggle that meant: *Pay attention! Something magical is coming!*

Ruby's curls stretched toward the sky like curious antennas. They were acting like a tiny spy, peeking at secrets no one else could see. Her hair told her something wonderful: the wind was about to change direction!

"Tommy!" Ruby called out. "Wait for the wind! It's going to help us!"

The pitcher wound up and threw the ball. It sailed through the air — and suddenly, a gentle breeze pushed it exactly where Tommy swung. *CRACK!* The ball went flying over the fence!

"Home run!" everyone shouted. The Sparking Stars won the game!

Afterward, Tommy asked, "How did you know the wind would help?"

Ruby smiled and touched her wiggling curls. "My hair is a special spy," she whispered. "It sees secrets in the wind. But the biggest secret is this — we win when we help each other."

That night, Ruby's hair wiggled again, whispering a new secret: tomorrow would bring another adventure. And with magical hair like hers, Ruby knew that every secret was just another wonderful surprise waiting to happen.
