Penny's Magical Garden Adventure

Penny loved playing games on her iPhone, but today she dropped it right into her grandmother's papaya tree! As she reached for it, a bolt of lightning struck the tree, and everything began to glow.

The papayas started to wiggle and giggle. One particularly large papaya rolled down and whispered, "Hello there, little friend! I'm Perry!" Penny couldn't believe her eyes—the papaya could talk!

"What's happening?" Penny asked, rubbing her eyes.

"The lightning magic has awakened our garden," Perry explained. "But we need your help. Our friend Zee is under a sleeping spell. Everyone calls him a zombie because he walks around all sleepy-like, but he's really just lonely."

Penny followed Perry through the glowing garden until she found Zee—a friendly-looking creature with droopy eyes and a slow, sad shuffle.

"Will you be my friend?" Zee asked hopefully. "Nobody wants to play with a zombie."

Penny smiled and took his hand. "I'll be your friend! Let's play tag!" She chased Zee around the papaya trees, and soon he was running and laughing. The more they played, the faster Zee became, until he was zooming around with energy.

Another lightning flashed, and the garden sparkled even brighter. "You did it!" cheered Perry. "Your friendship broke the spell!"

As the magical glow faded, Penny found herself back under the papaya tree, holding her iPhone. Zee, now full of life, waved goodbye.

"Come back anytime!" Zee called. "Friendship is the strongest magic of all!"

Penny smiled, putting her iPhone in her pocket. Sometimes the best adventures aren't on any screen—they're waiting right in your own backyard, especially when you're kind enough to befriend someone who needs a friend.
