Padel and the Lightning Bull

Padel loved his afternoon padel games. Every day after school, he'd rush to the court, his racket bouncing against his shoulder. But today was different.

Dark clouds gathered overhead as Padel ran toward the court. Suddenly, lightning cracked across the sky—CRACK! BOOM!—striking right behind the old oak tree near the padel court.

From the smoking ground emerged a magnificent bull, his coat shimmering with colors that changed like a rainbow. The bull looked frightened, his eyes wide with wonder.

"Are you lost?" Padel asked softly.

The bull nodded. He was from the Lightning Realm, where magical creatures lived among the clouds. A storm had blown him down to Earth, and he couldn't fly back up.

Padel's friend Maria arrived, carrying her grandmother's special spinach empanadas. "What's happening?"

"This is Thunder," Padel said. "He needs help getting home."

Maria's eyes sparkled. "My grandmother says spinach gives you strength for magical journeys!"

They shared their spinach snacks with Thunder. As the bull ate, his rainbow coat glowed brighter. He told them about his home in the clouds, where lightning butterflies danced and rain fell upwards.

"We need to help you return," Padel said.

The children had an idea. They would hit padel balls straight up during the next lightning strike, creating a path of glowing orbs for Thunder to follow.

Running back and forth, Padel and Maria hit ball after ball into the darkening sky. Each ball sparkled like a tiny star. Thunder followed their glowing trail, his hooves barely touching the ground.

Just as the biggest lightning bolt flashed, Thunder leaped into the sky, following the padel-ball path upward. He called down, "Thank you, friends! Visit me anytime!"

The next day, Padel found something amazing near the padel court. Thunder had sent a gift—fresh spinach that made anyone who ate it jump as high as the clouds!

Padel learned that kindness and quick thinking can help anyone, no matter how different they might seem. And sometimes, the best adventures happen when you least expect them—right in your own backyard.
