Orange Cat and the Star Cable
Orange was a curious cat with fur the color of sunset. She lived on a tiny island where a single palm tree grew, its fronds dancing in the warm breeze. Every evening, Orange would climb to the very top of the palm tree to watch the stars appear.
One night, something magical happened. A shimmering cable fell from the sky, glowing with the soft light of a thousand fireflies. It landed right beside Orange's paws. When she touched it with her nose, the cable began to hum a gentle melody.
Orange followed the glowing cable as it stretched across the sand, over rocks, and toward the mysterious cave on the other side of the island. Inside the cave, something even more amazing awaited her.
There stood a magnificent bull made entirely of starlight! His horns were crescent moons, and his eyes sparkled like diamonds. The bull spoke in a voice as deep and comforting as ocean waves.
"You found my star cable," the bull said warmly. "I am Orion, guardian of the Night Sky. This cable connects our world to the heavens above. Each night, I use it to hang new stars for children to make wishes upon."
Orange's tail twitched with excitement. "Can I help?"
Orion smiled. "Tonight is special. A group of children lost their favorite orange tree to a storm. They're very sad. I need someone brave and kind to help me plant a magical orange grove in the sky—so whenever they look up and see orange-colored stars, they'll remember that joy can grow again, even after difficult times."
Orange nodded without hesitation. Together, she and Orion climbed the star cable all the way up to the clouds. Orange used her paws to scatter tiny orange seeds across the night sky, while Orion poured stardust over them.
Suddenly, hundreds of orange stars bloomed above, forming the shape of a beautiful grove. Far below, children looked up in wonder, their sadness replaced by delight.
"Thank you, Orange," Orion said, pressing his moon-shaped nose against hers. "You taught me something important—even the smallest helpers can make the biggest difference."
That night, Orange climbed back down her palm tree knowing that friendship and kindness were the brightest magic of all. And every evening, she still watches the orange stars twinkle, reminding everyone that hope always returns, just like the stars.
