Mia's Secret Swimming Phone
Mia found the old iphone in her grandmother's attic. It was covered in dust, but when she wiped it clean, something magical happened. The screen didn't show apps or games—it showed a swirling blue portal that smelled like ocean breeze.
"Come swimming with us," the phone seemed to whisper in sparkly letters.
Mia held her breath and jumped through the screen. She found herself floating in the most beautiful lagoon she had ever seen. The water was warm and glittered like diamonds. Trees made of soft green leaves drooped over the water, and colorful fish swam around her fingers like curious pets.
A girl with sea-green hair appeared. "I'm Coral! You came through the magic phone!" She giggled. "We're playing padel. Want to join?"
Mia didn't know what padel was, but Coral handed her a paddle made of pearl. "We hit the special ball back and forth. Watch!"
Coral served, and the ball became a glowing jellyfish that zoomed across the water. Mia swung her paddle and—WHOOSH!—hit it back. The jellyfish transformed into a giggling starfish. Every hit made it change shape.
"You're really good!" said a boy named Finn who was swimming by with a friendly dolphin. "Most newcomers can't hit the jellyfish ball on their first try."
They played for hours, laughing as the ball became seahorses, pearls, and tiny singing whales. Mia's paddle shone brighter with every hit.
When it was time to leave, Coral gave Mia a special shell phone. "Whenever you want to come back, just hold this shell and think of us. Real friendship doesn't need screens."
Back in the attic, Mia realized the iphone was just an ordinary phone now. But in her pocket, the shell phone glowed softly. She had learned something wonderful: the best adventures don't happen on screens—they happen when you make real friends and try new things.
That night, Mia dreamed of swimming with Coral and Finn, their padel game lighting up the magical lagoon like tiny stars.
