Mia's Magical Game
Mia was different from everyone else in her village. While other children had brown or blonde hair, Mia's hair was the color of a sunset—bright and orange, like the ripest fruit in the orchard. Some kids teased her about it, but Mia secretly loved her orange hair. It made her feel special, like she was meant for something extraordinary.
One afternoon, while exploring the woods behind her house, Mia discovered something strange peeking out from beneath an ancient oak tree. It was a small, shimmering paddle with a golden handle and surface that sparkled like captured sunshine. Curious, she reached for it, and the moment her fingers touched the smooth wood, a tiny creature popped out!
"I'm a Padel!" announced the tiny being, no bigger than Mia's hand. "I've been waiting for someone with orange hair to find me. Only someone with sunset-colored hair can unlock my magic!"
Mia's eyes widened. "You can do magic?"
"Watch!" The Padel twirled in the air, and suddenly, the forest floor was covered in orange flowers that giggled when the wind blew.
"But why me?" Mia asked.
"Because your orange hair shows you have a bright heart, full of curiosity and kindness," the Padel explained. "I've been stuck here for ninety years because everyone who found me was too afraid or too serious to play."
Mia smiled. She hadn't felt lucky about her hair before, but now she understood—being different was actually her greatest gift. Together, she and the Padel played magical games that afternoon, turning ordinary moments into extraordinary adventures.
From that day on, Mia never let anyone make her feel bad about her orange hair again. She knew that sometimes, the very things that make us different are the things that make us magical.
