Mango's Moonlit Adventure
Mango was a tiny orange cat with the softest fur in all of Key West. Every night, while the other cats slept, Mango climbed the oldest palm tree on the beach. She loved how the palm leaves whispered secrets in the wind.
One starry night, something magical happened. As Mango reached the top of the palm tree, she saw something glowing in the sky. It wasn't a star or a plane. It was a great bull made of silver light, dancing among the clouds!
The bull looked sad. His magnificent horns sparkled, but his eyes were dim. Mango, being the bravest little cat, called out, "Mr. Bull! Why are you so sad?"
To her surprise, the bull could hear her! He descended through the palm leaves and landed gently beside her. "I'm the Constellation Bull," he mooed softly. "I've lost my special golden calf. Without him, I can't shine brightly in the night sky."
Mango's heart went out to him. "I'll help you find your calf!" she promised, her green eyes shining with determination.
The bull lowered his giant silver paw, and Mango climbed aboard. Together they soared through the night sky, searching everywhere. They asked the Moon, who smiled but hadn't seen the calf. They asked the North Star, who twinkled but didn't know.
Finally, Mango spotted something tiny and golden hiding behind a cloud. It was the baby calf, scared and alone! "Don't worry," Mango purred softly. "I'm here to help."
The calf trusted Mango's gentle voice and followed her back to the Constellation Bull. The reunion was beautiful—father and calf shone so brightly that they lit up the whole night sky.
"Thank you, little Mango," the bull said. "You showed that even the smallest friend can make the biggest difference."
From that night on, Mango wasn't just an ordinary cat. She became the Keeper of Stars, visiting her bull friends every night. And if you look up at the constellation Taurus on a clear night, you might still see a tiny orange cat sitting among the stars, reminding everyone that bravery comes in all sizes.
