Mango and the Lonely Zombie

Mango was an orange cat with fur as bright as sunshine and a heart full of adventure. One day, while exploring near the old oak tree, she heard a sad sigh coming from behind the bushes.

Curled up in a ball was a little zombie boy, looking lonely and misunderstood. His green skin was patchy, but his eyes were gentle and kind. Mango's tail twitched with curiosity. Zombies were supposed to be scary, but this one seemed just... lonely.

"Hello," Mango purred softly. "Why are you so sad?"

The zombie looked up with teary eyes. "Everyone runs away from me. They say I'm scary, but I just want a friend. And I've always wanted to go swimming in the magical pond, but I'm afraid I'll sink because I'm different."

Mango's whiskers twitched with excitement. "I can help! My grandmother told me about the enchanted pond beyond the willow trees. Its magic water makes everyone float like sunshine."

Together, the orange cat and the zombie boy journeyed through the whispering forest. Fireflies danced around them as they reached the glowing pond, its water shimmering with rainbow colors.

The zombie boy hesitated, but Mango nudged him gently. Step by step, they waded into the warm, magical water. To his amazement, he didn't sink at all! He floated effortlessly, while Mango swam graceful circles around him.

They splashed and played until sunset, becoming the best of friends. The zombie boy learned that being different didn't mean being alone, and Mango discovered that true friendship sees past appearances.

From that day on, whenever anyone saw an orange cat swimming beside a friendly zombie, they didn't run away. They waved, because Mango had taught everyone that magic exists in the most unexpected friendships.
