Luna's Magic Hat
Luna discovered the hat floating in the old swimming pool behind her grandmother's house. It wasn't any ordinary hat — it sparkled like the night sky, with tiny silver stars that twinkled when she touched them.
"This hat must belong to someone important," Luna whispered. She pulled it from the water and placed it on her head.
Suddenly, everything changed. The backyard pool wasn't just a pool anymore. Through the hat's magic, Luna could see it was actually a portal to a hidden world! She could spy on magical creatures dancing beneath the water's surface — silver fish with wings, turtles that could sing, and crabs playing tiny violins.
But Luna noticed something sad. A magnificent constellation bull was caught in some weeds at the bottom of the pool. His golden horns glowed, but his eyes looked frightened.
Luna knew what she had to do. She couldn't just spy and do nothing.
"Don't worry!" she called out, diving into the water with the magic hat protecting her. She swam down to the tangled bull and carefully pulled the weeds away from his golden horns.
The constellation bull nudged Luna's hand gratefully. With a mighty splash, he swam upward, breaking through the water's surface and soaring into the night sky above. He took his place among the stars, forming the constellation Taurus.
"Thank you, brave child," the bull's voice echoed like distant thunder. "You used magic not just to see, but to help. That is the greatest power of all."
Luna climbed out of the pool, her heart full of joy. She looked up at the new constellation twinkling above, knowing that true magic wasn't about having special powers — it was about using whatever magic you found to help others.
The hat stopped sparkling, but Luna didn't mind. Some of its magic had stayed in her heart forever.
