Luna and the Star-Bear's Pyramid
Luna was a curious girl who loved exploring her grandmother's attic. One rainy afternoon, while digging through old boxes, she discovered something strange — a shimmering golden cable that seemed to glow with its own light. Unlike any wire she'd ever seen, this cable hummed softly, like a lullaby.
Unable to resist, Luna gave the cable a gentle tug. To her amazement, it began to move, sliding across the floor and out the attic window, stretching up toward the clouds. Luna followed, clutching her favorite stuffed bear Barnaby as she climbed.
The cable led her higher and higher, past rooftops and treetops, until she reached a magnificent pyramid made entirely of crystal stars. Inside sat a enormous bear with fur like midnight sky and eyes full of ancient wisdom.
"Welcome, little one," the bear rumbled kindly. "I am Orion, guardian of the Wishing Pyramid. Few have found the golden cable, for it appears only to those with pure hearts."
Orion explained that the pyramid collected wishes from children all over the world, but lately, many wishes had grown dim because children had forgotten to share their hopes with others.
"How can I help?" Luna asked, squeezing Barnaby tight.
"By listening," Orion said. "Every wish becomes brighter when shared with a friend."
Luna understood. She climbed back down the golden cable, and that very day, she told her friends about her adventure. They made their own pyramid of wishes using colorful blocks, taking turns sharing their dreams.
The golden cable never appeared again, but Luna didn't mind. She had learned that magic wasn't about finding secret passages — it was about friendship, sharing, and believing that even the smallest wishes could shine bright when held together.
Every night, she and Barnaby would look at the stars, wondering if Orion was watching, collecting dreams and keeping them safe in his crystal pyramid, waiting for the next pure heart to find the golden cable.
