Lily's Secret Friend

Lily loved visiting Grandma's house in the countryside. But this time, she felt lonely. Mama had given her an old iPhone to play games, but the screen stayed dark. No WiFi meant no fun.

One afternoon, Lily sat under the ancient oak tree, tapping the useless screen. Suddenly, a flash of orange caught her eye. A beautiful fox with the softest copper-colored fur appeared, its tail fluffy as a dandelion.

"You're magic!" Lily gasped.

The fox's silver hair glowed brighter. Images danced across the iPhone screen – secret paths through the woods, hidden streams, and nests baby birds had just discovered. The fox was showing her its world!

Every day that week, the fox became Lily's secret friend. They explored together – the fox leading the way, the iPhone lighting up magical paths only Lily could see. She learned that the ancient oak was a meeting place for woodland creatures, that the bluebells by the creek sang at sunset, and that the old stone wall was actually a sleeping dragon's back.

On the last day of her visit, the fox touched its silver hair to the iPhone. The screen showed one last message: a tiny heart made of starlight.

"Thank you for being my friend," Lily whispered, hugging the fox goodbye.
