Lily's Magic Garden Adventure
Lily loved her goldfish Fin more than anything. He lived in a glass bowl on her nightstand, but Lily suspected he was magical. Sometimes, when no one was watching, his scales shimmered like tiny rainbows.
One ordinary afternoon, Lily was playing games on her iPhone when it suddenly glowed with a soft purple light. The screen showed a tiny door swinging open, and a sparkling path appeared on her bedroom floor!
Fin swam to the top of his bowl and blew a bubble that popped into words: "Follow the path, Lily! It's time for an adventure!"
Lily's eyes grew wide. Her goldfish could talk! She grabbed Fin's bowl and carefully followed the glowing trail, which led straight through her closet and into the most beautiful garden she had ever seen.
Enormous spinach leaves grew everywhere, each one as big as a beach umbrella. An orange flower with glowing petals bobbed in the breeze. And sitting on a mushroom was a small girl with silver hair and butterfly wings.
"Hello! I'm Misty," the girl said. "I've been waiting for a friend to visit!"
Lily set down Fin's bowl. "How did you know I was coming?"
Misty giggled. "Fin sends messages! Goldfish are the guardians of this garden. He told me someone kind and curious would arrive today."
The orange flower suddenly chimed like a tiny bell. Misty explained, "This is the Wishing Orange. It grants one wish to anyone who brings joy to the garden."
Lily looked around and saw weeds choking some beautiful blue flowers. Without thinking, she knelt down and pulled out every weed until the flowers could stand tall again. Misty watched with a smile.
"You didn't wish for anything for yourself," Misty said softly. "That's why you're special."
The orange flower glowed brighter and spun its magic over Lily's iPhone. When she held it up, the screen now showed a map to the Magic Garden whenever she needed a friend.
"Come back anytime," Misty said, hugging her. "And bring Fin — this is his home too."
Back in her room, Lily looked at Fin, who winked. Some adventures, she realized, are just beginning when you think they're ending. And the best magic isn't in phones or wishes — it's in kindness and the friends who share your journey.
