Lily and the Sleepy Zombie
Lily was eating breakfast when she noticed something strange. Her orange wasn't just any orange—it was glowing! Tiny sparkles danced around it like little fireflies.
"Wow!" Lily whispered. She picked up the glowing orange, and it felt warm in her hands, like a tiny sun.
Suddenly, her dad's old iphone on the counter began to buzz. Not just a normal buzz—musical notes floated out of it! Lily had never seen an iphone play music by itself before.
A tiny face appeared on the screen. It was a round, cheerful creature with orange skin!
"Hello!" the tiny creature said. "I'm Vitamin! I'm the spirit of this magic orange! Thank you for waking me up!"
Lily's eyes widened. "A magic orange? A vitamin fairy?"
"Yes!" Vitamin said, dancing on the screen. "I give people the power of joy and energy! But only if they share me with friends."
Lily nodded solemnly. "I promise!"
She took a bite of the orange, and suddenly golden sparkles burst from her fingertips! She felt light as a feather, almost like she could fly.
On her way to school, she saw something peculiar. Her friend Max was walking like a zombie—slow, with heavy steps and droopy eyes. He looked half-asleep!
"Max!" Lily called. "Are you okay?"
Max yawned. "I'm so tired. I didn't eat breakfast."
Lily remembered Vitamin's words. Without hesitating, she broke off a piece of her glowing orange and handed it to Max.
"Here," she said. "Try this."
Max took a bite. His eyes popped open wide! Golden sparkles swirled around him, and suddenly he was bouncing with energy, doing a happy dance right there on the sidewalk!
"Wow!" Max laughed. "I feel amazing!"
"That's the magic of sharing," Lily said, smiling.
That day, they both felt full of energy and happiness. And whenever they saw someone feeling tired or sad, they knew exactly what to do—share a little magic, just like the magical orange had taught them.
