Leo's Backyard Pyramid
Leo sat in his backyard, staring at the uneaten **spinach** on his dinner plate. His grandmother always said it would make him strong, but he felt anything but strong. He was the smallest kid in his class, and he hated it.
That's when he noticed something strange. A single leaf of spinach was glowing green! Before Leo could blink, it floated up and pointed toward the old **palm** tree in the corner of the yard. His heart racing, Leo followed the glowing leaf as it danced around the tree trunk.
Suddenly, the bark of the palm tree shimmered like moonlight on water. A door appeared! Leo stepped inside and gasped. He was in a golden chamber filled with floating crystals. In the center stood a miniature **pyramid** made of sparkling baseballs!
"You've arrived!" boomed a voice. A huge but friendly **bull** stepped out from behind the pyramid. He had kind brown eyes and wore a baseball cap. "I'm Buster, guardian of the Courage Pyramid. Only those who brave their fears can enter."
Leo trembled. "I'm not brave. I'm scared of everything."
Buster smiled. "Bravery isn't about not being scared. It's about being scared and doing what's right anyway. Like trying new foods, even when you think you won't like them."
The pyramid began to glow. Inside, Leo saw visions of himself standing up to bullies, trying new things, and helping others. His fear melted away, replaced by a warm feeling in his chest.
"You already have everything you need," Buster said kindly. "True strength comes from within, not from what you eat. But spinach doesn't hurt!" The bull winked.
Leo laughed as the chamber faded. He was back in his backyard, dinner plate in hand. The spinach looked different now—not scary, just food. He took a bite and smiled. It actually tasted pretty good!
From that day on, Leo stood a little taller. Whenever he felt scared, he remembered Buster's words. And sometimes, when he looked at the old palm tree, he could almost see it shimmer in the sunlight, reminding him that the bravest thing anyone can do is believe in themselves.
