Leo and the Star Bull
Leo was a curious boy who loved to play spy. Every night, he would sneak to his window with his telescope and spy on the stars, naming each twinkle he saw.
One magical evening, Leo noticed something extraordinary. A glowing streak fell from the sky and landed in the old park behind his house. Without hesitating, Leo grabbed his flashlight and tiptoed outside to investigate.
In the center of the park stood a magnificent sphinx with golden fur and wise, sparkling eyes. Beside her lay a gentle creature—a bull made of stardust and moonlight, his coat shimmering like a galaxy.
"Welcome, little star spy," the sphinx spoke in a voice like wind chimes. "This is Taurus, who has fallen from the sky. He needs help to return home."
Leo's eyes widened. "But I have my big baseball game tomorrow! I need to practice!"
The sphinx smiled sadly. "The bull cannot fly until he regains his strength. He needs someone to play with him."
Leo looked at his mitt, then at the lonely star bull. His heart made the choice. He grabbed his baseball and began tossing it gently to Taurus. The bull caught it in his glowing horns, tossing it back with delight. As they played, Taurus grew brighter and stronger.
By dawn, the bull could barely stay on the ground. "Thank you, Leo," Taurus said. "Your kindness gave me the strength to fly."
As Taurus soared back to become a constellation once more, the sphinx appeared beside Leo. "You chose kindness over your game. That is the mark of a true hero."
Leo ran to his baseball game just in time. Something magical had happened—every time he swung his bat, he remembered the bull's gentle strength. Leo hit home runs like never before, not because he practiced, but because he played with a kind heart.
That night, Leo spied on the stars again. Taurus twinkled extra bright, as if winking at his friend. And Leo knew that kindness was the most magical power of all.
