Leo and the Pyramid Dreams
Leo sat under the swaying palm tree in his backyard, clutching the orange bottle. "I don't want to take these," he complained. "They're just vitamins. They're boring."
His grandmother smiled, crouching down beside him. "These aren't just vitamins, Leo. They're pyramid-shaped magic crystals from the Desert of Wonders."
Leo's eyes widened. "Really?"
"Really," Grandma nodded. "But you have to hold them in your palm and close your eyes. Only then will you see where they take you."
Leo swallowed the small orange pill, then curled his fingers around the empty bottle. He squeezed his eyes shut. At first, nothing happened. Then—the ground beneath him shifted.
When he opened his eyes, he wasn't in his backyard anymore. He stood at the base of a gleaming golden pyramid, its peak scraping a purple sky filled with three moons.
"Welcome!" chirped a tiny creature with feathers like a palm frond. "I'm Pip. Are you here for the Dream Treasure?"
Leo nodded slowly. "I think so. What's the Dream Treasure?"
Pip hopped onto Leo's shoulder. "It's hidden at the very top of the pyramid. But only those who believe in magic can reach it."
Together they climbed the golden steps. At the top, Leo found no chest, no jewels—just a small mirror reflecting his own smiling face.
"The treasure is you!" Pip exclaimed. "Your imagination, your dreams, your courage—they're the real magic. The pyramid just helps you remember."
Leo woke up under the palm tree, Grandma's hand gently shaking his shoulder. "How was your adventure?"
"Amazing!" Leo beamed, holding up his palm. A tiny golden glow lingered there. "I think I'll take my vitamins every day now."
Grandma winked. "Good. Because tomorrow's crystal might take you somewhere even more wonderful."
And Leo knew she was right. The magic wasn't in the pills or the pyramid—it was in him, waiting to be discovered.
