Leo and the Magic Pyramid

Leo was running through the park, his heart pounding with excitement. The annual neighborhood treasure hunt was about to begin, and this year's prize was supposed to be magical.

"In your palm, Leo," his grandma had whispered that morning, pressing a smooth stone into his hand. "Keep this close."

Now, as the other kids raced toward the old oak tree, Leo noticed something strange. A golden pyramid had appeared near the playground slides. It shimmered like sunshine, even though the sky was cloudy.

"Did anyone else see that?" Leo whispered to his best friend Maya.

But Maya was too busy laughing at her brother Sam, who was doing his famous zombie dance—arms stiff, legs dragging, making everyone giggle. It was the funniest thing Leo had ever seen.

Suddenly, lightning flashed across the sky. The golden pyramid glowed brighter.

Leo felt the stone in his palm grow warm. Grandma had said it was magic. Could it be calling him?

He stepped closer to the pyramid. Up close, he saw it wasn't solid—it was made of light! And inside, tiny figures danced and played.

"Come in!" a voice echoed.

Leo stepped through the light. Inside was a magical playground where kids dressed as zombies weren't scary at all—they were guardians of fun! They high-fived Leo and showed him the best slide ever, one that went right through clouds!

"We've been waiting for someone brave enough to enter," a zombie guardian said with a warm smile. "Someone who believes in magic."

Leo realized the stone in his palm had been the key all along.

When he stepped back out, only a minute had passed. Maya and Sam were still laughing, Sam still doing his silly zombie dance.

But now Leo knew—magic was real, and it lived in the hearts of those who believed.

That night, Leo pressed the warm stone into Grandma's palm.

"I knew you'd find it," she smiled. "The magic was inside you all along."
