Goldie's Orange Magic
Lily refused to eat her orange slices. "They're too tangy," she declared, pushing them aside. Her mother sighed. "But oranges have vitamin C — they're magic for your body!"
That night, Lily's pet goldfish Goldie swam to the top of his bowl and made a tiny bubble sound. Bloop! To Lily's surprise, Goldie spoke! "I can show you real magic."
Goldie's orange scales began to glow brightly. Suddenly, Lily shrank until she was small enough to fit inside the goldfish bowl. But the bowl wasn't a bowl anymore — it was a vast underwater kingdom!
"Welcome to Orange Ocean," Goldie said proudly. The water shimmered with golden light, and everywhere they swam, orange sea creatures greeted them. There were orange seahorses, orange starfish, and even orange coral castles.
"This is where the vitamin magic lives!" Goldie explained. He showed Lily the Great Orange Tree, where magical orange fruits grew. "Every creature here eats one magic orange each day. That's why we're so strong and happy."
A tiny orange fish swam up, looking sad. "I don't want to eat my orange either," she pouted.
Goldie gently tapped the little fish with his shimmering tail. Suddenly, she glowed with energy and zoomed around joyfully. "See?" Goldie said. "The magic vitamin inside oranges gives you power to play, learn, and grow strong."
Lily watched in wonder as even the oldest sea turtles became playful after eating their magical oranges. "Is that why you're so gold and shiny, Goldie?"
Goldie nodded. "I eat my orange every single morning!"
When Lily returned to her room, everything looked different. She picked up her orange slice and took a bite. It tasted sweet and magical, just like Goldie had promised.
From that day on, Lily never refused her oranges again. Sometimes, when she looked at Goldie swimming in his bowl, his scales seemed to glow extra bright — as if he were smiling.
"Magic vitamins," Lily would whisper, and Goldie would answer with a happy bubble. Bloop!
Lily learned that the best magic doesn't come from wands or spells, but from taking care of yourself with healthy food — and from wonderful friends who teach you important lessons, even if they happen to be goldfish with glowing orange scales.
