Felix Fox and the Magic Pool
Felix Fox was a curious fox with golden-orange fur and a tail that twitched when something exciting was about to happen. Every night, he would creep to the edge of the forest and watch the children play in the park beyond.
One evening, the moon hung low and silver over the playground. Felix spotted something glowing beneath the swings—a mysterious rectangle of light left behind by a careless child. It was an iphone, its screen flickering with tiny dancing stars.
Felix's friend Mittens, a sleek black cat with emerald eyes, padded silently beside him. "That's not for us," Mittens warned. But Felix's curiosity sparkled brighter than the moon.
"Look!" Felix cried with joy as the phone made a gentle sound—padel, padel, padel—like tiny raindrops on a leaf. A magical map appeared on the glowing screen, leading them toward the old garden behind the tennis court.
Through the overgrown vines and moonlit flowers, they discovered something amazing: a hidden pool, its waters shimmering with rainbow colors instead of blue. The pool seemed to hum with ancient magic, and tiny fairies danced above its surface.
Mittens' eyes widened with wonder. "This is where the forest spirits come to play!" she whispered.
But Felix noticed something sad. The pool was growing smaller, its magic fading. A tiny water sprite floated up, tears like pearls. "The children have stopped believing in magic," she explained. "Without wonder, our pool will disappear forever."
Felix looked at the iphone, then at his cat friend, and at last, an idea burst forth like fireworks. "Mittens, we'll show them magic still exists!"
Together, they used the phone to capture photos of the magical pool—rainbow waters, dancing fairies, sparkling sprites. When the children discovered the images the next morning, their gasps of wonder traveled all the way to the hidden pool.
The waters swelled and sparkled brighter than ever. Felix and Mittens watched from the forest edge, hearts full, as new children gathered around the pool, eyes wide with belief and wonder.
That night, Felix Fox learned the most important lesson: magic doesn't disappear when we stop believing—it just waits for curious hearts to find it again. And sometimes, the most wonderful discoveries come from the most unexpected friendships.
