Felix Fox and the Emerald Pyramid
Felix Fox had always been the cleverest fox in the forest, but he'd never been brave. While his friends splashed in the river, he stayed on dry land.
One afternoon, Felix spotted something peculiar—a golden padel racket floating in the stream. When he touched it, the water began to glow. An ancient turtle surfaced.
"This magical padel opens the gateway to the Emerald Pyramid," she said. "Only the truly curious may enter."
Felix hesitated, but curiosity won. Gripping the racket, he plunged into the water. Surprisingly, he could breathe! Fish darted around him as he swam deeper, toward a magnificent pyramid rising from the seabed.
Inside, glowing crystals illuminated corridors lined with the most delicious thing Felix had ever seen—giant emerald spinach leaves that shimmered with magic.
"Try one," whispered a small octopus peeking from behind a pillar. "They grant courage to those who need it most."
Felix took a bite. Warmth spread through his chest. He felt stronger, braver.
"But courage isn't just about eating magic food," the octopus continued. "Real courage means trying new things even when you're scared. You swam all the way here—that was already brave."
Felix realized she was right. The spinach had simply helped him believe in himself.
He returned home with the magical padel, inviting all his forest friends to play. And though Felix was still sometimes scared, he learned that courage isn't the absence of fear—it's being afraid and doing wonderful things anyway.
