Felix and the Sunshine Vitamins
Felix was no ordinary fox. Every morning at dawn, while other foxes slept, he crept through the meadow to collect something special—dewdrops that sparkled like tiny stars.
He called them sunshine vitamins.
"One drop makes you hop," Felix whispered, carefully tipping each dewdrop into his treasure—an old blue baseball cap he'd found near the park. "Two drops make you smile. Three drops make you want to dance!"
One morning, Felix discovered a boy sitting on a bench, head in hands. Leo had dropped his favorite baseball into the rushing creek and watched it float away.
Felix's ears drooped. He knew exactly what to do.
Sneaking closer, he nudged Leo's sneaker with his nose. The boy looked up, startled, as Felix offered him the baseball cap filled with glowing dewdrops.
"What's this?" Leo asked, wiping his eyes.
Felix tapped three drops onto Leo's palm. Warmth spread through the boy's fingers, up his arms, straight to his heart—like drinking sunshine.
Leo gasped. "I feel... happy!"
Together, they searched downstream. There, caught between two stones, sat the baseball. Leo cheered, and Felix did a little fox dance.
"Want to play catch?" Leo asked.
Felix nodded enthusiastically. They threw the ball back and forth as golden sunlight filled the meadow. The dewdrop vitamins had faded, but Leo felt lighter than he had in days.
As evening fell, Leo realized something wonderful. The magic vitamins had helped, but the real secret was having a friend who cared.
"Tomorrow?" Leo asked, holding up his mitt.
Felix placed a paw over his heart. Tomorrow, and every tomorrow after.
That night, as Felix curled up in his den, he understood the truest lesson of all: The best vitamins don't come from dewdrops or bottles. They come from friendship, laughter, and days spent doing what you love with someone who makes your heart glow like sunshine.
