Felix and the Lightning Bridge
Felix was a small orange fox with the biggest ears in the forest. While other foxes slept, Felix stayed awake to watch the stars. He loved to wonder about things.
One stormy night, Felix discovered something strange near the old farmhouse. It was a thick black cable, half-buried in mud. The other end stretched all the way up to a lonely treehouse where a girl named Lily lived. Lily was new to the farm and had no friends.
Felix tugged the cable. It didn't budge. But then, something magical happened. A brilliant bolt of lightning flashed across the sky, and for one split second, the cable glowed with sparkling blue light!
Felix jumped back in surprise. The cable hummed with energy. He realized the lightning had charged it with something special—magic!
Curious and brave, Felix followed the glowing cable up the hill. Rain pattered on his nose. Thunder rumbled like a friendly giant's laugh. The cable pulsed brighter with each lightning flash, guiding Felix through the dark.
Suddenly, he saw Lily at her window, looking sad and lonely. The cable's magic sparkled between them. Felix understood what he had to do.
He waited for the next lightning bolt. CRACK! The sky lit up. Felix grabbed the cable with his teeth and pulled. It hummed and vibrated, and somehow, magically, the light from the cable formed a glowing bridge right to Lily's window!
Felix scampered across the shimmering light bridge. Lily's eyes grew wide with wonder. She opened the window, and the little fox jumped inside.
From that night on, Felix and Lily were best friends. They learned that sometimes the most magical friendships come from the most unexpected places—even an old cable and a lightning storm.
And whenever storms rolled across the valley, Felix would smile his foxy smile, knowing that lightning wasn't just weather. It was magic bringing friends together.
