Emma's Magic Hair

Emma hated taking her vitamins. Every morning, her mom would hand her the orange chewable tablet, and Emma would make a face.

"They taste like yucky oranges," she complained, but she swallowed it anyway because she wanted to grow big and strong.

One sunny Saturday, Emma was running through the park, playing tag with her best friend Leo. Her long brown hair flew behind her like a superhero cape. She ran faster and faster, her feet pounding the grass, her heart thumping with joy.

Suddenly, something strange happened. Emma's hair began to glow!

"Emma! Your hair!" Leo shouted, pointing.

Emma stopped running and looked in a puddle. Her hair wasn't brown anymore — it was shimmering with rainbow colors, sparkling like tiny stars! And she felt different too — lighter, stronger, like she could fly.

An old woman appeared from behind a tree. She was kind, with twinkling blue eyes and silver hair that also glowed softly.

"You've discovered the secret," the woman said with a smile. "Those vitamins you take every morning? They're magic vitamins. When combined with running and playing, they give children special gifts."

Emma's eyes grew wide. "Really?"

"Yes, dear. The magic only works for children who run and play with joy in their hearts. Your rainbow hair means you have the gift of kindness — you can make anyone smile."

Emma looked at Leo, who was laughing with amazement. She reached out and gently touched his shoulder, and suddenly Leo started glowing too!

"We're both magic now!" Leo cheered.

From that day on, Emma never complained about her vitamins again. She understood that some things that seem boring or yucky might actually be magical gifts in disguise. And every time she went running through the park, her rainbow hair would shimmer, reminding her that the best magic comes from simple things — good health, friendship, and a happy heart full of adventure.
