Emma and the Star Bull
Emma was playing on her iPhone when something strange happened. The screen began to glow like captured sunlight, and sparkles swirled across the glass. Suddenly, a tiny bull no bigger than her thumb stepped right through the screen!
"Moo!" said the bull, shaking his golden horns. "I'm Orion, from the Star Meadow! My wings got caught in a cosmic storm, and I landed in your... what do you call this glowing box?"
Emma gasped. "It's my iPhone! But you're MAGIC!"
Orion nodded. "Yes, and I need help. The star dust that powers my wings has faded. I need special vitamins from the Moon Garden to fly home again."
Emma's eyes widened. "I'll help you!"
She clicked her phone's flashlight app, and the beam became a bridge of light. She and Orion stepped onto it, rising up through her ceiling and into the night sky. The Moon Garden was more beautiful than anything Emma had imagined—silver flowers that hummed gentle tunes, and dewdrops that tasted like peppermint.
"The Star Vitamins grow on the crystal vine," Orion explained.
Emma spotted glowing purple berries. She picked them carefully, placing each into Orion's pouch. As the bull ate the magical vitamins, his wings began to shimmer and sparkle with renewed strength.
"Thank you, Emma!" Orion nuzzled her hand with his soft nose. "You showed such kindness to someone you'd just met. That's the most powerful magic of all."
He flapped his magnificent wings, carrying Emma back through the iPhone screen just as the first morning light touched her window.
"Will I ever see you again?" Emma asked.
Orion smiled. "Look at the stars tonight. The brightest one? That's me saying thank you."
Every night, Emma checks her iPhone for Orion's special messages—tiny hoofprints that appear briefly on her screen. And whenever she sees someone who needs help, she remembers: true friends come in all sizes, even tiny star bulls who need vitamins for their wings.
