Cleo Cat and the Friendly Zombie

Cleo was no ordinary cat. With fur as orange as sunrise and whiskers that twitched with curiosity, she spent her mornings running through Meadowbrook Village, greeting every friend she met.

One Tuesday, something peculiar happened. Behind the old bakery, Cleo spotted a green figure shuffling slowly. It wasn't scary at all—just lonely. The zombie, whose name was Zippy, looked sad.

"Hello," Cleo meowed softly.

Zippy jumped. "Oh! You can see me? Everyone runs away when they see me."

"Why would they do that?" Cleo asked, tilting her head.

"Because I'm a zombie," Zippy sighed. "I haven't felt like myself in months. I'm always tired and sluggish."

Cleo's ears perked up. "My friend Oliver is a doctor. Maybe he can help!"

Together they traveled to Oliver's house. Oliver examined Zippy carefully and smiled. "I know exactly what you need!"

He reached for a bright orange bottle on his shelf. "These are special vitamins made from sunshine, giggles, and morning dew. They'll help anyone feel bright and energetic again."

Zippy took one vitamin. Suddenly, his green face lit up with a warm glow. He started running in circles, laughing with joy. "I feel wonderful!"

But there was one problem—Zippy needed to get home before sunset, and the bridge was broken. That's when Cleo noticed the old cable car dangling above the river.

"I have an idea!" Cleo purred.

With Zippy's new energy and Cleo's clever thinking, they fixed the cable car and zoomed across the river just as the stars began to twinkle.

From that day on, Zippy was never lonely again. He became the village's most helpful friend, using his strength to carry groceries and fix things. And every morning, you could see Cleo the cat and Zippy the friendly zombie running together, best friends forever.

Sometimes, Cleo reminded everyone: "Things aren't always what they seem. A zombie just might need a vitamin—and a friend."
