Cleo and the Sunken Pyramid
Cleo was not like other cats. While her friends napped in sunny windows and chased mice, Cleo dreamed of water. She sat by the pond, watching the fish dart and dance, her golden eyes wide with wonder.
One hot afternoon, something shiny flashed beneath the surface. Without thinking, Cleo dipped one paw into the cool water. Then the other. Soon, this curious cat was swimming! Her fur floated like a soft cloud, and she discovered she could glide through the water almost as gracefully as the fish.
Deeper and deeper she swam, until something amazing appeared—a golden pyramid resting on the pond's bottom! It wasn't big like the ones in books, but it glowed with mysterious light. Tiny fish with scales like rainbow jewels swam around it, guarding the treasure.
Inside the pyramid lived an ancient turtle named Sheldon, who had been waiting for a brave friend for three hundred years. "You're the first cat who ever dared to swim here," Sheldon said, his shell covered in glowing patterns. "For your courage, I'll share my magic."
He taught Cleo that water could be fun, not scary. He showed her secret underwater gardens and sparkling caves. When Cleo finally swam back to the surface, she carried something more precious than gold—friendship and the knowledge that being different could lead to wonderful adventures.
Now every morning, Cleo the swimming cat visits her pyramid friend, proving that the best discoveries happen when you're brave enough to try something new.
