Cleo and the Orange Pyramid
Cleo was no ordinary cat. While other cats chased mice or napped in sunbeams, Cleo loved to explore. One hot afternoon, she padded through the garden until something made her whiskers twitch.
Behind the old oak tree stood a pyramid, but not like the ones in books. This pyramid glowed bright orange, as if someone had captured a piece of sunset and built it into triangles. Cleo approached cautiously, her green eyes wide with wonder.
The moment her paw touched the orange surface, the pyramid shimmered like heat waves on pavement. Suddenly, Cleo wasn't in the garden anymore. She stood inside a magnificent chamber where everything glowed in warm golden light.
"Welcome, little explorer," echoed a gentle voice.
Before Cleo appeared a water dragon made entirely of flowing blue streams. His scales rippled like a river, and his eyes sparkled like pools under moonlight.
"I am Azure," said the dragon. "This orange pyramid appears only to those with curious hearts."
Cleo's tail swished nervously, but Azure's kind smile made her feel brave. "Why me?" she wondered aloud.
"Because you seek adventure," Azure replied. "Many cats are content with simple lives. But you—you dream of more."
Azure led Cleo through rooms where fountains danced with water that sang, where orange crystals pulsed with gentle light, and where paintings showed cats throughout history doing brave things.
"The world needs explorers," Azure explained. "Those willing to venture beyond the ordinary. You have courage, Cleo. Use it well."
He pressed a small orange crystal into her paw. "When you need wonder, hold this tight. The pyramid will return."
In a blink, Cleo was back in her garden. The orange pyramid had vanished, but the crystal remained, warm against her paw.
That night, Cleo curled up beside her sleeping boy, feeling the crystal's gentle pulse. She had learned something wonderful: curiosity opens doors to magic, and the best adventures are the ones you share with your heart.
From then on, Cleo explored everything—the garden, the house, the world beyond. And sometimes, when the sunset painted the sky just right, she would catch a glimpse of orange light and smile, knowing magic was always waiting for those brave enough to look for it.
