Cleo and the Golden Pyramid

Lily loved exploring her grandmother's attic. Rain tapped against the window as she opened a dusty wooden chest. Inside curled a tiny bronze cat statue with emerald eyes that seemed to twinkle.

"Hello there," Lily whispered, touching the cat's nose.

Suddenly, the cat statue purred and stretched! It grew until a real cat stood before her — golden fur shimmering like sunshine.

"I'm Cleo," the cat said in a voice like tinkling bells. "And you've awakened me! Let me show you something wonderful."

Celo touched her paw to Lily's forehead. WHOOSH! The attic vanished.

They stood in a desert under a sky full of stars. Before them rose a magnificent pyramid, glowing with rainbow light.

"This is the Pyramid of Courage," Cleo explained. "Inside lives someone very special."

Lily's heart raced with excitement. She held Cleo's paw as they climbed the crystal stairs inside the pyramid. The walls sparkled with ancient pictures of children facing their fears.

At the top, they found a giant chamber. In the center stood a magnificent bull with silver horns and a coat like storm clouds. But this bull had the kindest eyes Lily had ever seen.

"Welcome," the bull rumbled gently. "I am Barnaby, guardian of brave hearts."

Lily wasn't scared at all. Barnaby reminded her of her stuffed animal at home.

"Why are you here?" Lily asked.

Barnaby smiled. "Every child needs a special vitamin for their spirit — something that makes them strong inside. I give them drops of courage from my magic horn."

He dipped his horn into a pool of starlight. Three glowing drops fell into a small bottle.

"This courage vitamin will help you when you feel afraid," Barnaby said. "But remember — the real magic was already inside you. This just helps you find it."

Lily took the bottle. It felt warm in her hand.

"Thank you!" she hugged Barnaby's leg. "Can I visit again?"

"Whenever you need," Cleo purred. "Just call my name."

WHOOSH! Lily was back in the attic. The bronze cat statue sat in the chest, emerald eyes twinkling. In her pocket, the bottle of courage vitamin glowed softly.

Lily smiled. She knew whatever challenges came her way, she would never face them alone. Friendship, like courage, was the greatest magic of all.
