Buster and the Ocean Baseball

Buster was a golden retriever who loved two things more than anything: chasing his favorite red baseball and splashing in the ocean waves. Every morning, he would run to the beach with his tail wagging like a metronome, ready for adventure.

One sunny Tuesday, Buster was playing catch with his best friend, Lily. The baseball sailed high into the air, glistening like a ruby against the blue sky. Buster bounded after it, his paws thumping rhythmically across the warm sand. But this time, something magical happened. The baseball didn't land on the beach—it kept going, splashing into the sparkling water with a musical *plop*.

Before Buster could even whimper, a curious seal popped up beside the floating baseball. The seal balanced the red sphere on her nose and winked at Buster.

"I'm Marina!" the seal said in a bubbly voice. "And I think this belongs to you!"

Buster's eyes widened. He had never met a talking seal before!

Marina flipped the baseball back to shore, but something had changed. The ball now shimmered with an iridescent glow, and tiny droplets of seawater clung to it like jewels.

"That's no ordinary baseball now," Marina explained. "It's been touched by ocean magic. Whenever you throw it, it will create wonderful water adventures!"

Buster couldn't wait to try. He tossed the baseball toward the playground, and suddenly a magnificent waterslide appeared, twisting and turning like a sea serpent. Children laughed and splashed, sliding down its shimmering surface.

Next, he rolled it across the dry grass, and a crystal-clear stream bubbled up, forming a perfect pond where ducks could swim and fish could dart.

Lily clapped her hands with delight. "Buster, you're making everyone happy!"

Buster realized something important: the best gifts aren't just for keeping—they're for sharing. From that day on, whenever someone felt sad or lonely, Buster would bring his magical baseball and create a water wonderland just for them.

And sometimes, if you look closely at the beach, you can still see Marina the seal splashing in the waves, playing catch with her new friends—because magic, like baseball, is always more fun together.
