Bramble and the Pyramid of Wonder
Bramble was a small brown bear with the biggest curiosity in the forest. While other bears slept through sunny afternoons, Bramble explored. One day, she followed the sparkling river until it opened into a secret clearing.
There, rising from the ground, gleamed a crystal pyramid. Water cascaded down its sides in rainbows that made music when they splashed. Bramble had never seen anything so beautiful.
Suddenly, she heard a tiny squeak. A green frog was trapped under a fallen branch near the water's edge! Bramble knew she must help, but she was just a little bear.
Her mother had always told her about magical spinach that grew in moonlit clearings—leaves that gave extraordinary strength to those with kind hearts. Bramble closed her eyes and remembered exactly where to look.
She scurried through the forest until she found the glowing green patch. The spinach leaves shimmered like emeralds. Bramble ate just one, and warmth spread through her paws. She felt strong enough to move mountains!
Racing back to the pyramid, Bramble lifted the heavy branch with one paw. The frog hopped free, his sparkly eyes wide with wonder.
"Thank you!" he croaked. "I've been trying to reach the top of the pyramid for three days. I'm a secret spy for the Moon Queen, and I need to place this moonstone at the peak before sunset. It keeps the forest's dreams safe."
Bramble's heart swelled. She carried the little frog all the way to the pyramid's pinnacle, where he placed the glowing stone. As the sun set, the pyramid lit up with starlight, and dream dust floated across the forest.
"You're the bravest bear in all the world," the frog said. "The Moon Queen will want to hear about your kindness."
Bramble walked home under twinkling stars, her belly full of magical spinach and her heart full of adventure. She had discovered that being a spy for goodness was the greatest adventure of all, and sometimes the smallest bears could do the biggest things.
