Bernie's Magical Pool Discovery
Bernie was a small curious bear with fur the color of autumn leaves. Every morning, he climbed the tallest palm tree behind his cave, searching for something wonderful.
One hot day, Bernie spotted something sparkling deep in the jungle. He scrambled down the palm trunk and followed the glitter until he found a hidden pool of crystal blue water. But this wasn't ordinary water — tiny golden lights danced across its surface like captured stars!
"Hello?" called Bernie. A wise old turtle emerged from the pool. "This is the Vitamin Pool," she said slowly. "One sip gives you the power of ten bears. One gulp makes you smarter than the owls. But the full pool belongs only to those who share."
Bernie's eyes grew wide. He imagined all the honey he could reach, all the fish he could catch! But then he remembered his friend Lila, a little bear who was too small to climb trees or catch fish. Lila needed magic more than anyone.
"I don't want it for myself," Bernie said. "Lila needs help. She can't climb or swim like the others."
The turtle smiled. "You have already found the real magic. When we care for others, we become stronger than any potion could make us."
She led Bernie to a special palm tree filled with glowing orange fruits. "These are vitamin fruits. Share them, and watch what happens."
Bernie gathered the fruits and brought them to Lila. As she ate, something amazing happened — she didn't grow bigger or faster. Instead, her eyes sparkled with confidence. "I can do this," she said, and climbed a tree all by herself for the first time.
The pool's water had been ordinary all along. The real magic wasn't in drinking — it was in friendship, kindness, and believing in each other. That night, Bernie and Lila sat by the water under the palm trees, watching the stars dance on the pool's surface, happier than any magical potion could ever make them.
